Check out some options how ec4 files might be converted to jpg format.
It appears there is no direct way to convert .ec4 covers made with Epson Print CD as .jpg images.
What some users do, to bypass this limitation, is to print the .ec4 cover as PDF and then convert the .pdf document as JPEG picture (.jpg) using any tools available. For this you will need a virtual PDF printer installed though.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

Files with jpg file extension contain pictures, digital photos, and other bitmap images. It is one of the most common image formats used today.
Files with jpg suffix are also related CompactDRAW a graphics editing software. A jpg file stores e-JPG graphic data, similar to standard JPEG with different metadata.
