Possible software with support for converting of fh5 files to ai file format.
There is a script available for download from Adobe that allows users to import old FreeHand drawings (like .fh5) directly to Adobe Illustrator and save them as .ai drawings. This option however seems to be working only for CS4/CS5 versions of Illustrator and does not work for the latest CC. For very old FreeHand drawings, you may need an older version of Illustrator than CS4.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
