Software that can be used for conversion of groove file type to aa3 format.
It appears that SONY ACID Pro software is your best choice for groove to aa3 conversion, aka. ACID to ATRAC audio conversion, because it should support both of these file types. Unfortunately, we could not really verify this information and it may be possible that it works only in versions of ACID Pro prior the acquisition by Magix.

Files with aa3 extension is used for a special Adaptive Transform Acoustic Coding (ATRAC) format used by Sony for their MiniDisc format.
