It is very hard or rather close to impossible to convert iBooks files to PDF, or any other file format for that matter, because iBooks are typically protected by Apple DRM. There might be some DRM removing apps available or some that claim that they can directly perform ibooks to pdf conversion (or rip), but their usage is probably against Apple policy.

Rarely, files with pdf file extension might also be found as preferences definition files for ArcView program.
