You can convert iges to par, i.e. import 3D models in IGES 3D exchange (.igs, .iges) to Solid Edge and produce a new CAD part from it (.par). It may be possible that other 3D modeling tools may also be used for iges to par conversion, but it's usually best to use software which natively uses .par files.
