Find a software converter able to convert lay files to pdf files.
Several different lay file type exist and it is likely at least some of them can export their files as PDF documents.
You can always look for the Print function in your program that works with .lay files and print it as PDF file instead of paper. You will need a virtual PDF printer installed though.
