Software that can be used for conversion of m3u file type to cfg format.
Unfortunately, we do not know about any possible m3u to cfg conversion at this time or what it should represent. M3U format is used for audio playlists (list of songs to be played), so perhaps it's meant to be a playlist conversion in which case you should try one of the popular multimedia playlist managers.

An m3u file extension is related to M3U (Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 Uniform Resource Locator) playlist file format. It was originally implemented in Winamp, although it is now supported by many applications.
CFG
Files with cfg file extension can be typically encountered as one of the many different configuration files. These files that contain various settings and data that define how program or hardware should work. Typically a cfg file is in plain text format and can be viewed in any text editor.
A cfg file extension is related to the RMCProfile software and used for its data files.
