Convert MP3 songs playlist to MPEG-4 compressed audio.

There is no way you can convert a media playlist file, such as .m3u to actual audio file, which of course includes .m4a (MPEG-4) files as well.

At best, you can open the playlist in some text editor and check for the names of the songs and file paths that are listed in it.

This conversion entry was verified by us and conversion was flagged as wrong or not possible.
Usually this happens when the conversion would try to convert different types of data between each other, such as audio to image, or it is not possible because incompatibility between programs, caused by closed file formats, very limited support etc.

If you find entry that you feel is flagged as bad wrongly, please tell us in the discussion below with as much as information as possible so we can fix it.

Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database that match this conversion.

M3U

An m3u file extension is related to M3U (Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 Uniform Resource Locator) playlist file format. It was originally implemented in Winamp, although it is now supported by many applications.

M4A

An m4a file extension is used for audio files stored in MPEG-4 (MP4) container and used AAC (Advanced Audio Coding), or Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio compression. M4A is very popular on Mac computers, because it is default audio format used by iTunes. M4A is also default audio format for Apple portable devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad).
