Find a software converter able to convert m4f files to mp4 files.
m4f to mp4 conversion is probably of interest, because some users would like to have their SNC (Sony Network Camera) video recordings in MP4 format, instead the default M4F format.
It seems that M4F is a proprietary format and not just variant of MPEG-4 that can be easily converted, thus no standard multimedia converters support it.
As far as we know, you can only playback .m4f files using the SNC player that can be downloaded from Sony website. But no converter exists. Maybe playback with 3rd party screen-capturing app is the only way how to turn the video recordings from M4F to MP4 format, but of course that offers the obvious drawbacks of making video recording of video recording.
