Check out some options how nbib files might be converted to doc format.
Considering that .nbib files are specially structured text files and as such you can open these using any text editor as well as MS Word. If you want to, you can save them as MS Word document (.doc, docx) which is what nbib to doc conversion is, but citation managers that support PuBMED format won't most likely open Word files.
