We have found 2 software records in our database eligible for .pages to .rtf file format conversion.
If you do not have access to Pages for Mac app, which is the obvious pick for pages to rtf conversion, you either try some open source word processor like LibreOffice Writer that might (or might not) support your version of .pages or, or you use the online version of iWorks to export the document. You would need iCloud account for that however.

PAGES
A pages file extension is used for default document format of Pages, a word processor and page layout program from Apple. No other program can open the *.pages files, but Pages is able to export its documents to some other formats, such as PDF or Microsoft Word's *.docx.
RTF
Files with rtf extension can commonly be found as text files saved in Rich Text Format. Supported by most text editors.
