Check out some options how pvs files might be converted to step format.
pvs to step conversion would make sense as attempt to export old ProductView files (.pvs) to STEP format (.stp, .step), something that might have been possible using the original program. Unfortunately, we were not able to determine whenever this is actually the case and if there is indeed a way to convert pvs to step.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

PVS
A pvs file extension is related to the Parallels Desktop, a virtualization software for Apple Mac computers. A pvs file stores configuration of virtual machine.
A pvs file extension is related to the ProductView (PTC Creo Elements/View) and used for its structure files.
A pvs file extension is related to the PolyView slide show script format. Probably obsolete.
STEP
Files with step extension are quite often found as 3D model / part files saved in STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data) format.
