The PWI file originated in the old Pocket Word app for Windows Mobile, and only a few users can actually find their old files in cloud services or as old backups and are looking for a way to recover the documents.
Microsoft Word no longer reads .pwi files, so the only viable alternative is to search for third party solutions, such as the ABC Amber Text Converter or Soft4Boost Document Converter.
In any case,. pwi files are legacy format now and the support for the format may be phased out completely one day.
