Possible software with support for converting of skf files to dxf file format.
skf to dxf conversion is most likely related to attempts to convert old Autodesk AutoSKETCH thumbnails (.skf) to actual CAD drawings (.dxf). This is unfortunately not possible as .skf files are just thumbnails, little pictures that are used to preview the actual drawing. You have to look for the .dwg file from which the .skf file was previously generated.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
This conversion entry was verified by us and conversion from skf to dxf was flagged as wrong or not possible.
Usually this happens when the conversion would try to convert different types of data between each other, such as audio to image, or it can't be done because incompatibility between programs, caused by closed file formats, very limited support or by other problems.

Files with dxf extension can be typically found as 2D CAD drawings saved in the Drawing Exchange Format, a common format for exchange of engineering drawings.
Files with dxf extension were associated with Micrografx Picture Publisher. Now this project is discontinued.
