This conversion seems to be related to attempts to transfer memo notes from Samsung smartphone to LG smartphone, i.e. convert S Note note (.snb in older versions) to QuickMemo memo file (.lqm).
It seems that this is not doable as neither apps supports format from the other vendor. Maybe some 3rd party app like Evernote can be used to sync the notes, but it may not work for every memo app.

Files with lqm extension are in most cases memo notes saved in the LG's Quick Memo app which is available for Optimus UI and LG UX interfaces.
Files with lqm extension are mainly related to the Liquid Audio software and used for its master data files.
