You cannot exactly convert SRT subtitles to DVD video (.vob), because both files contain different data, which means direct srt to vob conversion is unlikely. But some video editors allow users to embed subtitles to video files, but in case of DVD videos, these are kept in separate files anyway. You would have to use some container format like MP4 or MKV to embed subtitles directly.
