Since 2022 Autodesk Revit now not only supports export to STL format, but also allows import of .stl files back to the software. But of course STL files are meant mainly for 3D printing and only contain geometry and are barely editable, so it means that you can reuse them, but it will require manual work and it's not really a file conversion or recovery of the original.
Except for this, we do not have any information about dedicated stl to rvt conversion. The usual workaround in the past was to first convert STL file to a solid format and import that to Revit.
