Programs used to perform the conversion from txt file to trc format.
Several different text-based .trc file types exist, so there may actually be more than one possible way to achieve txt to trc conversion.
What most users are looking for are ways to import txt based output files to Matlab, in order to produce trace files . Assuming these files are just specially structured text files, some kind of parser will be needed. And quite frankly, most users are actually dealing with the opposite problem: exporting TRC format to plain text. This problem is not much about finding txt to trc converter, but understanding the structure of the data to properly import the data.
Matlab forums discuss this problem when users are looking for solution, but we have not found a definite answer there. But there is readtrc function by Jérémie Guignard that works for TRC files in MatLab at least; perhaps a reverse function exists as well.
