Possible software with support for converting of vlc files to flv file format.
VLC player is mainly meant for playback of media files and not conversion. however it does posses a modest conversion capability and can export some videos to Flash content (.flv files).
If you actually found a .vlc file, i.e. file with vlc extension, is is likely tha it's just a renamed playlist file (in most cases .pls or .m3u). You do not need to convert these to anything else, just rename the extension should you need to use it in other media players.
Such files do not contain any multimedia data, just references to them, so no multimedia conversion is possible.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.
