Programs used to perform the conversion from vsdx file to xls format.
It is certainly possible to import shapes or drawings from MS Visio to Excel, either by the means of copy paste or by using the dedicated import function (as object). You can also find converters for vsdx to xls conversion, but what they do is that they put the Visio object on empty Excel sheet.
Unfortunately, there is no detailed software record in the database for this conversion.

VSDX
Files with vsdx extension are almost always graphics diagrams made and saved in latest versions of Microsoft Visio diagramming program.
XLS
Files with xls extension are best known as spreadsheets from Microsoft Excel. A spreadsheet is basically a grid of cells sorted in rows and columns. Each cell can contain text, numeric or formula data. Excel XLS spreadsheets can be opened in most other similar programs, such as OpenOffice.org Calc.
