WhatsApp stores voices mails as .waptt files which are not associated with any media player mobile devices or computers by default.
These are essentially .m4a, .aac, or .opus files that had have waptt suffix appended to the file name. If you remove the waptt suffix, the files become playable in almost every, if not every, modern media player.
