Find a software converter able to convert zix files to vlc files.
ZIX archives are notoriously distributed on torrents sites, but are nothing more than a variant of ZIP that can be opened with a malware known as WinZIX.
For example you were trying to download some video or movie from some website and got a .zix file instead. Word of advice: Do not use WinZIX, it will infect your computer with malware that is hard to purge from computer.
It is better to download the files in other format and delete .zix files. If you really wish to recover .zix files, use tools such as such UnZixWin or UnZixHTA that removes all the rubbish data from these archives and creates regular ZIP files.
Once you have the .zp file, you can simply extract the movie and play it using VLC player.
