File extension gwl is mainly related to Nanoscribe's proprietary General Writing Language. It is for example used in NanoWrite interface for Photonic Professional software.
A .gwl file describes the trajectories to be followed by the laser focus inside a photo resist and also configure all system parameters to be used during the writing process. When loading a .gwl file, NanoWrite first checks the file for errors, visualizes the 3D structures in a preview and estimates the total writing time.
You can work with .gwl file using Nanoscribe software.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to exist any way to convert .gwl files to anything else.
