The kbb file extension is mainly related to Jetico BestCrypt program and used for files with Key Block Backups.
Normally, when Windows and Bestcrypt from Jetico are running, jbc/bca/kbb are 'protected' by the Bestcrypt software. This means that such files cannot be deleted. Unless users manually disable the protection from within a running Bestcrypt.
