The mm8 file extension is also related to MusicMaker version 8 and used for one of its audio format. 4/8 voices. Based on macros. 2 mixing methods, one fast, one slow (on 68000), both capable of playing 8 tracks of all different volume (different to eg. Oktalyzer). All timer- and vertical blank interrupts are free and not used by the player. The samples can be compressed using the Fibunacci algorithm, without any major loss in quality.
