Files with try file extension can generally be found as weather data files.

The try file extension is mainly related to a special data format that contains weather information, which is used to perform WUFI calculations.
This format was used by the German National Weather Service DWD for the test reference years published in 1986. The latest version of this format uses simple DAT extension.
You can view these files using any text editor.
Probably cannot be converted to other formats.
