The deploymenttargets file extension is related to SQL Server, a relational database server, developed by Microsoft.
The Analysis Services Deployment Wizard reads the installation target information from the <project name>.deploymenttargets file. SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) creates this file when you build the Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services project.
