The file format was initially developed by Noetic Systems Inc. for their Ergo software, however the common extension for this format is erg.

It seems the program is discontinued. Should not be confused with ERGO audio software.

It seems this file type could only be opened in the original Ergo tool.

If any conversion or export is possible, it would be through the original Ergo software.
