Adobe Photoshop for Mac, from Adobe, uses 8BCO files to store color table data. A color table defines the colors available to Photoshop for particular color-related operations.
This is a support file for the Mac version of Photoshop and is not an image or a general-purpose document format.
Open or use the file with Adobe Photoshop for Mac. It is intended to be loaded as color table data within Photoshop, not opened as a picture in a general image viewer.
An 8BCO file does not represent a complete image, so ordinary image conversion is not applicable. If Photoshop can load the file, use its color table or palette commands to apply the colors and save them in a format supported by that installation.
