The alk file extension is mainly used for an encrypted file type made using the DataLocker data encryption solution.
These alk files can be for example typically found on DropBox, where DataLocker saves these files if possible.

There is no way how to convert the encrypted *.alk files. However, after decoding the *.alk files, original files can be converted.
