AOL6 Organizer file
File type: Various data file
An ARLOLD file is a data file created by AOL 6 Organizer, the personal organizer included with AOL 6.
It belongs to the legacy AOL software suite and is not a general-purpose document format.
File type category:
Various data file
Date updated: September 28, 2026
The ARLOLD file extension was used by America Online's AOL 6 Organizer. The file stores organizer data used by that application.
ARLOLD files are associated with the AOL 6 Organizer application rather than with a standalone, widely supported format. The format is obsolete because AOL 6 Organizer is legacy software.
Modern applications generally do not support this file type. Access may require the original AOL 6 Organizer environment or a backup of the system on which the file was created.
Open an ARLOLD file with AOL 6 Organizer, if the original AOL 6 software is still available. Current office, calendar, and archive applications generally cannot open it directly.
Because AOL 6 Organizer is obsolete, opening the file may require access to an old installation or system backup. Make a copy of the file before attempting to use it.
If AOL 6 Organizer can still open the file, use any export options provided by that application to move the information into a current format.
If the original application cannot read the file, conversion may not be possible without specialized assistance.
