BOXER file is a data container called simply gamebox. It is used to store game data, settings, executable files etc.
In default, Boxer for Mac stores gamebox containers in:
Users/<User>/DOS Games folder
To view content of gamebox container open Finder, press the right mouse button on .boxer file and select View content option from menu.
Use Boxer for Mac to open and run game installed in gamebox container.
Conversion to other formats is not possible.
