What is cdi file?
File type category:
Disk image (ISO) binary file
Date updated: July 13, 2025
File extension cdi is mainly associated with DiscJuggler, a professional burning program, developed by Padus, Inc.
CDI format was the default disk image format of DiscJuggler. The program is not further developed, but cdi files are still supported by many other burning programs.
There was also program called CD Anywhere produced by Alpeak Technology, but that appears to be completely different disk image format.
Note: In 1991 join venture of Sony and Philips produced a game console that did use CD-I (Compact Disc Interactive) discs. It is not a name of file format, rather the physical media and has nothing to do with DiscJuggler. However, IsoBuster is supposed to access the data from CD-I discs.
