The crypt10 file extension appears to be used by some of the older versions of WhatsApp Messenger, an instant messaging service and client for various mobile platforms.
The .crypt10 file stores encrypted and protected database with chat history similar to SQLite database format.
By default, the file is called: msgstore.db.crypt10 and is stored on phone SDcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder.
You can restore *.crypt10 backups with the default function of the WhatsApp program. You may even transfer them to another device, provided it uses same telephone number.
With Omni-Crypt and similar tools users may export or convert their *.crypt10 files to original *.crypt or *.db format.
