Files with cvdtpl extension can be often found as drawings templates made using the Mac version of Canvas X Draw.

File extension cvdtpl is used for the default drawing template format in the Mac version of Canvas X Draw software, instead the typical .tpl files used in the Windows version. Otherwise the files are pretty much the same and serve same purpose.
Windows version of Canvas X can open these files, but not use them as templates directly (New from Template function).
Templates are usually not meant for export, nonetheless when used for a new design, these can be certainly exported.
