File extension cvxcad is used for the default file type introduced in Canvas X CADComposer for storing 3D objects designed with the tool. It is available as part of Canvas X / Canvas X Draw suite.
It doesn't seem that this file type is supported outside the original software, so using the Canvas X CADComposer seems like the only option how to open .cvxcad files.
Canvas X CADComposer supports numerous 3D formats, so export to these is certainly possible.
