DHCD Computing uses the DHCD file extension for files that hold settings and data used by its applications. Depending on the application, the file may contain application data or user data.
DHCD files are encrypted with private keys that are not publicly released. They therefore use a proprietary format and are not intended for direct editing outside the associated DHCD Computing application.
Open a .dhcd file with the DHCD Computing application that created it. Because the file is encrypted with private keys that are not publicly released, a general-purpose text editor or database program cannot normally open it.
Because DHCD files are encrypted with private keys that are not publicly released, they cannot normally be converted outside the associated DHCD Computing application. If that application provides an export or backup function, use it to save the data in a supported format.
