A .dvdrip file is a disk image rather than an ordinary video file. It can hold the contents of a DVD, including digital video and other data stored on the disc.
UltraISO for Windows may open this type of image and can work with its DVD contents. The format is obsolete and is no longer commonly used.
On Windows, try opening the .dvdrip file with UltraISO. If the file is a valid DVD disk image, the program may be able to inspect or use its contents.
Because the format is obsolete, current software may not recognize the extension.
If UltraISO recognizes the file as a disk image, it may be possible to save or convert it to the more common ISO disk-image format.
Converting it to a normal video file is not a direct format conversion. The DVD video content must first be extracted or re-authored with software that supports DVD video.
