The DZIP2 format is an implemented package format associated with Topologi. It was designed to let users package and exchange the components that define XML document types.
A DZP package can contain metadata, schemas and scripts for an XML document type. It is an interchange package rather than a general-purpose document format, so its contents are intended to be processed by software that understands the DZIP2 specification.
Topologi made the DZIP2 specification available for other software developers to use. The format was also proposed as the basis for an XAR, or XML Application Archive, format.
Open a DZP file with software that supports the DZIP2 format. The package contents are intended to be interpreted as a document-type package by compatible software.
If the file does not open, use an application that explicitly supports DZIP2.
DZIP2 is an interchange package format. To use its contents in another format, open the package with compatible software and export or save the metadata, schemas and scripts in a format supported by that application.
