File extension elg is mainly related to now discontinued program called Enable from Energy Scitech and was used for its activity log files.
An .elg file is a log of activity during the extraction of data from the results of a single reservoir simulator run. Each file is created automatically and the file names correspond one to one with the names of the simulator runs.
It is likely that if any program can open .elg logs it would be Enable Sciech, however it may be possible that these can be opened using any text editor.
As far as we know, there is no known way to convert .elg files to anything else.
