The .fub format was used for e-books read on the Franklin eBookMan, a handheld electronic reader from Franklin Electronic Publishers. Publications in this format were sold between 1999 and 2002.
The format was designed for the eBookMan device and its companion software, rather than for current desktop or mobile reading applications. The eBookMan reader is no longer sold, although existing .fub e-books may still be available. The format is now obsolete.
Open a .fub file with the original Franklin eBookMan reader. Modern e-book applications generally do not support this obsolete format.
No reliable current converter for .fub e-books is known. If the file can be opened with the original eBookMan software, its text may need to be recovered and recreated manually in a modern e-book format.
