HXN is the native file format associated with Hexagon. It stores a model created in the application and its related modeling data.
Hexagon is a 3D modeling program from DAZ 3D for Apple macOS and Mac OS X. HXN is a software-specific project format rather than a widely used 3D interchange format, so it is primarily useful within Hexagon.
As far as we know, this type of 3D model can only be opened in DAZ Hexagon on Apple macOS or Mac OS X. In Hexagon, use the application's Open command and select the HXN file.
Hexagon can be used to export an opened model to other 3D formats supported by its export commands. Open the file in Hexagon and export it to a suitable interchange format.
