iAd Producer was an Apple development tool for Mac OS X and macOS. It enabled users to create interactive iAd content without writing the underlying program code.
An iadaction file contains an action template for use in iAd Producer. The template forms part of an iAd Producer project and provides a reusable definition for an interactive action.
iAd Producer is a legacy Apple application and is no longer actively developed. The iadaction format is therefore mainly encountered in older iAd Producer projects.
Open an iadaction file with iAd Producer on Mac OS X or macOS where the application is installed. The file is intended to be used from within an iAd Producer project rather than as a standalone document.
iAd Producer is a legacy application, so it may not be available or compatible with current macOS releases.
There is no standard standalone conversion for an iadaction file. It is an iAd Producer action template, not a general-purpose document format.
To use the same interaction in another authoring system, recreate the action there or use the original iAd Producer project and its publishing workflow where available.
