Cygwin provides a Unix-like environment and command-line tools for Microsoft Windows. Its documentation can use the GNU Info format, in which a long manual is divided into a main .info file and numbered continuation files such as .info-7.
This file contains part of an Info manual, including documentation text and the data used for navigation between manual sections. It is not normally an independent document; the related files are used together by the Cygwin Info reader.
Open the file in a Cygwin terminal with the GNU Info reader, together with its associated manual files. The reader provides navigation between sections and continuation volumes.
A plain-text editor can also display the file's text on Microsoft Windows, but it may not preserve the Info format's navigation.
A .info-7 file is already a documentation file, so it normally has no useful standalone conversion. Use the Cygwin Info reader to view it or copy its displayed text into another document format when necessary.
