The Integration Exchange Format is a database exchange format used by IBM Db2. An ixf file can contain exported table data together with information needed for importing that data into a Db2 database.
Db2 provides utilities for exporting table data to IXF and importing it into another database. The format is intended for database transfer rather than for direct reading as a document or general-purpose data file.
