The jnk file extension is associated with Starpoint Gemini 2, an action role-playing and space simulation game developed by Little Green Men Games for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.
The jnk file stores data for the game's junkyard feature. It is a game resource rather than a document intended for direct use by players.
Starpoint Gemini 2 opens and reads its jnk files automatically when it needs them. On Microsoft Windows, run the game normally and leave the file in its original game location.
A jnk file cannot be sensibly converted with standard file-conversion software. It is a game-specific resource, so it should be left in its original format and used by Starpoint Gemini 2.
