The kX Project is Windows audio-driver software for Creative Sound Blaster Live! and Audigy sound cards, developed by Creative. It provides an alternative to the manufacturer's standard drivers.
A kxa file contains an add-on for the kX Project and is used as part of that software's add-on system.
Use the Windows version of the kX Project to install or use a kxa file. It is an add-on package, so it may not display useful contents when opened in a text editor or another general-purpose application.
A kxa file is an add-on package, not a document or media format, so it normally has no meaningful conversion. Install or use it with compatible kX Project software instead of converting it.
