The lrx file extension is associated with BBeB (Broad Band eBook), a proprietary eBook file format developed and used by both Sony and Canon. Used mainly in older elder Sony ebooks readers, such as Sony Libre.
Broad Band eBook formats also use the LRS and LRF file extension.
In July 2010 Sony dropped the use of BBeB formats in favour of EPUB format.
Older Sony readers are able to open .lrx ebooks.
Files with lrx extension are not convertable.
