Adobe Director was an Adobe multimedia authoring application for creating interactive presentations and other multimedia content. The MD03 file extension identifies a file used by an earlier Mac version of the software.
MD03 files belong to Adobe Director's collection of project-related files rather than being a general-purpose interchange format. The format is obsolete and is no longer in common use.
Open an MD03 file with Adobe Director for Mac, if that legacy application is available.
If the file is part of an older Director project, keep it with the other files from that project and open the project through Director rather than opening the MD03 file by itself.
MD03 is a legacy Adobe Director file rather than a general-purpose interchange format, so conversion is normally handled through the associated project.
If the associated project opens in Adobe Director, use Director's own export or publishing features to create an output in a supported format.
