Adobe Soundbooth was an audio editing application from Adobe. Its .movie files stored Soundbooth documents, including audio data and the edits made to it.
Adobe Soundbooth was available for Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS (Mac OS X). The application is no longer developed, so the movie file extension is now a legacy format and is not commonly supported by current audio software.
Open the movie file in Adobe Soundbooth on Windows or in Adobe Soundbooth for Mac on macOS. Because Soundbooth has been discontinued, the application may not be readily available, and current audio editors may not open this document format directly.
Adobe Soundbooth can export the audio from an opened movie file to the audio formats supported by the installed version. This produces a playable audio file, but it does not preserve the original Soundbooth document and its editing information.
